1. Who we are
Samaway ("we", "us") operates samaway.com, a directory, comparison, and information platform for Umrah and Hajj travel services offered by third-party companies, plus community group-trip organizing and Hajj guidance services.
2. What Samaway is not
Samaway is not a travel agency, not a tour operator, and not a booking platform for Hajj. We do not sell Hajj packages, do not process Hajj package payments, and do not issue visas. Hajj registration, booking, and payment take place exclusively through official channels: for pilgrims from non-quota countries (such as the USA, UK, EU, and Australia), through the pilgrim's own account on Nusuk (hajj.nusuk.sa), the official platform of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; for pilgrims from countries with a national Hajj quota, through that country's official Hajj authority and its licensed operators. Any listing of Hajj packages on Samaway is informational comparison only.
3. Company listings and verification
Companies listed on Samaway are independent businesses. A "Verified" badge means Samaway has reviewed the company's publicly available licensing and authorization status as of the date shown; it is not a guarantee of service quality or of continuing authorization. Always confirm a company's current status before purchasing. Companies are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings.
4. Prices and package information
Prices, dates, inclusions, and availability shown on Samaway are provided by companies or collected from public sources and may be out of date. The operating company's own quote is the only binding price. Samaway is not a party to any contract between you and a listed company.
5. Group trips and guidance services
Where Samaway organizes group trips, the trip is operated by a licensed partner agency identified at signup; Samaway's role is organizing and coordination, and any Samaway fee is a disclosed service fee. Hajj guidance services are educational and administrative support only; they do not replace the official booking channels and do not constitute booking services.
6. Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links on Samaway are affiliate links (for example, hotel, transport, flight, or travel-gear links). We may earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never change our editorial rankings or verification decisions.
7. Reviews and user content
Reviews must reflect genuine experience. We moderate for authenticity and may remove content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or violates these terms.
8. Liability
Samaway provides the platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samaway is not liable for the acts or omissions of listed companies, for travel outcomes, or for decisions made in reliance on platform content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
